Warranty Policy

Products sold by Oveny are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty for the model concerned, where the manufacturer provides one. Warranty length and terms are set by the manufacturer, not by us, and they vary by brand and by model. Where a manufacturer publishes a warranty period for a product, we state it in the specification on that product page.

Your statutory rights come first

A manufacturer warranty is in addition to your legal rights, not instead of them. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If goods are faulty you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund from us as the seller, regardless of what a manufacturer warranty says.

Making a claim

Contact us at contact@oveny.co.uk with your order number, the product, and a description and photographs of the problem. We will tell you whether the quickest route is a return to us or a manufacturer service claim, and we will help you either way.

What warranties usually exclude

Manufacturer warranties generally do not cover normal wear, surface rust on consumable parts such as burners, grates and heat plates, damage caused by incorrect assembly, using the wrong fuel or gas pressure, commercial use of a domestic appliance, storing an appliance uncovered outdoors, or damage caused by accident or misuse. Check the documentation supplied with your product for the exact terms that apply to it.

Gas safety

Natural gas appliances must be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not modify an appliance or convert it between fuels except with the manufacturer’s approved conversion kit and instructions.
