Payment Methods

Card payments on Oveny are processed by Stripe. You can pay with Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards, along with any additional options shown at checkout. The full list of methods available to you always appears on the checkout page, and every order is charged in pounds sterling (GBP).

Security

The whole store runs over HTTPS. Your card details are entered into payment fields provided by Stripe and are sent directly to Stripe. They are never stored on our website or our servers, and we never see or hold your full card number. Stripe is certified as a PCI Service Provider Level 1, the highest level of certification available to a payments company.

Card authentication

UK and European cards are covered by Strong Customer Authentication. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment with 3-D Secure, usually a prompt in your banking app or a one-time code. If that check is not completed the payment is declined and no money leaves your account.

When you are charged

Payment is taken when you place your order. The charge is collected by Stripe on our behalf and appears on your statement under our trading name, Oveny, or our registered company name, Z HOME SERVICES LTD. If you do not recognise a charge, contact us with your order number and we will identify it for you.

Declined payments

If a payment is declined your order is not placed and no funds are taken. A declined attempt can still leave a pending authorisation on your account for a short period; your bank releases it automatically without any action from us. Check the card details and try again, or use a different card.

Refunds

Refunds are issued through Stripe to the card used for the original order, as set out in our Returns and Refunds policy. Once we issue a refund it normally reaches your account within five to ten working days, depending on your bank.

Questions about a payment

Contact us with your order number and we will look into it. We can confirm what was charged and when, and arrange a refund where one is due.
