This policy explains what personal information Oveny collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Oveny is a trading name of Z HOME SERVICES LTD, which is the data controller for the information described here.

Information we collect

When you place an order we collect the name, delivery address, billing address, email address and telephone number you provide, along with the details of what you ordered. When you contact us we keep the correspondence so we can deal with your query. Our website records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited.

We do not store your full card details. Card payments are processed by our payment provider over an encrypted connection, and we receive only confirmation of payment and limited reference information.

Why we use it

We use your information to process and deliver your order, to handle returns, refunds and warranty claims, to answer your questions, to keep proper business and tax records, and to protect the store against fraud. The lawful bases we rely on are performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interests in running the business securely.

Who we share it with

We share your details with delivery carriers so they can deliver your order, with our payment provider so they can take payment, and with our website and email hosting providers who process data on our behalf. We may disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are kept for six years to meet UK accounting and tax requirements. General correspondence is kept only as long as it is needed.

The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, including keeping the contents of your basket and keeping you signed in during checkout. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the store may stop working if you do.
