A gravity-fed charcoal cooker: the hopper holds fuel above the firebox and feeds it down under its own weight, while a DigitalFan controls the airflow and therefore the burn rate. The result is charcoal cooking you set with a dial instead of managing by hand.

Temperature runs from 107 degrees Celsius for overnight smoking up to 371 degrees for fast, hot grilling, so it covers both ends of the range that usually needs two appliances. The hopper takes 5.5 kg of lump charcoal or 8.1 kg of briquettes, up to fifteen hours of use. Cooking space is 1,150 square inches, quoted at 50 burgers, 19 chickens or 12 racks of ribs. Wi-Fi and the Masterbuilt app cover temperature setting, session graphs and meat probes. Ceramic firebox inserts and vitreous enamel-coated heat manifold and charcoal grates handle the heat.
