The Flame Broiler lever is the feature that separates it from most pellet grills: slide the plate across and you are cooking directly over the flame rather than by convection, which is how you get a sear at the end of a low-and-slow cook. Temperature runs from 85 to 260 degrees Celsius across eight cooking modes. Total cooking area is 3,503 square centimetres, split between a 46 by 49 cm main level in porcelain-coated cast iron and a 44 by 28 cm upper rack. The hopper takes 7 kg of pellets, and one meat probe is included with a second port available.
