The standard Maverick 850, without the wheel upgrade. The cooking chamber is built from 7 and 10 gauge carbon steel with a signature 304 stainless steel lid and work shelf, which is a heavier specification than most pellet grills at any price.

Temperature is managed by a PID controller, which continuously corrects rather than simply switching the auger on and off, so long cooks hold their set point. It is Wi-Fi capable and a smart meat probe is included. The hopper holds 35 lb of pellets and there is an expanded metal rack underneath to store bags. A trap door drip pan and a grease drain with a ball valve make cleaning and airflow control straightforward. Hand-crafted hardwood lid handles, rubber-covered manoeuvring handles, stainless working surface, paper towel rack and three tool hooks.
